Bringing Intelligent vehicles to the road

euroFOT established a comprehensive, technical, and socio/economic assessment programme for evaluating the impact of intelligent vehicle systems on safety, the environment and the driver efficiency. The project assesses several technically mature systems using vehicles that include both passenger cars and trucks across Europe.

euroFOT is an integrated project partly funded by the European Commission under the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) for research and development.

OBJECTIVES

euroFOT has brought together a comprehensive array of organisations to test intelligent vehicle systems across Europe. Car manufacturers, suppliers, universities, research institutes and other stakeholders.

ICOOR ROLE AND MEMBERS

ICOOR main activities within this project were related to the definition, preparation and management of questionnaires. Moreover, ICOOR team was in charge of the statistical data analysis.

ICOOR Members: Polytechnic of Turin, University of Trieste.
