On the 11th of March 2020, ICOOR attended the webinar organized by EFFRA  (European Factories of the future research association) that focused on the projects associated to the call topic DT-ICT-07-2018-2019 (Digital Manufacturing Platforms for Connected Smart Factories), complemented by other key projects in this area.

The main outcome and objectives of the projects were presented, and the webinar addressed different topics as:

– human-centered manufacturing;

– circular manufacturing;

– dataspaces for manufacturing;

– security for manufacturing.

As ICOOR, we are happy to be involved in this non-for-profit, industry-driven association promoting the development of new and innovative production technologies.

Our aim is to collaborate with EFFRA in order to promote pre-competitive research on production technologies within the  European Research Area by engaging in a public-private partnership with the European Union called  ‘Factories of the Future’.
